Blind Rocks

Blind Date with Blind Rocks Campaign at Thames International College

On September 26, 2021, we carried out our Blind Date with Blind Rocks campaign at Thames International College Kathmandu virtually. The campaign is especially about the integration of participants with the blind community and also the motivational session. It was indeed a wonderful experience, with the avid participation of the students and their cooperation.

“It has helped me understand more about people with disabilities and as a social work student, I am sure I will keep this experience with me every time.”

“I am going to activate all my senses from now. And start positive affirmation towards myself. and trust myself.”

“This session will help me on a deeper level. A short story shared by Shristi ma’am at the beginning made me realize how we as a person are different and unique from each other and that we have our own purpose.”

“The session was very motivational, optimistic, interactive, and insightful. The games were fun. Even though I participated in only one it was fun observing the other two. And I liked how the session felt so warm.”

We are very happy and proud to have such comments and love. Thank you so much to all from Themes International College for having us. Also, thanks to guest speaker Tiffany Brar (Founder of Jyothirgamaya) and the entire team of Blind Rocks!.
