Climate Change requires our commitment, especially if we are youth. A new initiative, born out of the desire to create awareness on climate change but also enable new personal and collective efforts for climate action.
The initiative, entitled “On the Road to Glasgow COP 26: The Role of Youth in Nepal, Understanding, Committing & Leading” is organized by Canopy, Prakriti Resource Center, Together for Nepal, and ENGAGE in partnership with WWF and counts as Out Reach Partners Blind Rocks! and Krishna Gahatraj, a youth activist and inclusion practitioner.
This Leadership Training on Climate Action program started on 21st Oct and has 6 representatives from Blind Rocks.
There were 3 component in the event:
1st Component: Capacity Building : Participants had learned the fundamentals.
2nd Component: Interaction with Experts : Participants had learned and dialogue with key actors involved in climate change in the country.
3rd Component: Personal Leadership: Participants was supported to think and plan some micro initiatives or simply take up some personal or group commitments for climate action.
