Blind Rocks! successfully conducted a three-day Podcast Workshop from Falgun 17 to 19, 2081 (March 1 to March 3, 2025) equipping 20 talented individuals with disabilities with essential podcasting skills. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Achyut Ghimire, a renowned media professional with 25 years of experience, participants engaged in hands-on learning, gaining the confidence to create and share impactful stories.
The workshop, supported by the European Union – Global Youth Mobilization, provided an interactive learning experience where participants explored the art of podcasting. Through practical exercises and real-time feedback, they refined their skills, preparing to launch podcast series.
This workshop was just the beginning! The journey continues as these participants embark on an upcoming podcast series that will explore 10 different types of disabilities in Nepal. This initiative aims to raise awareness, foster inclusivity, and amplify diverse voices, ensuring greater representation in media.
