On Jan 7, 2022, The Blind Rocks Team went to Bal Jyoti School, Hetauda, where we provided the 2-day training of mobility orientation, communication, motivation session, as well as dance and movement workshop. Also, to make the study lives of blind and visually impaired students more eloquent, we distributed essential educational material and assistive devices like an audio player with a pen-drive, rolling white cane, and talking watch to the 16 blind students.
In this journey, we identified the further needs of those students for which we are planning to go again in the future and fulfill those requirements.
We would like to thank Rotarian Mr. Dhiraj Karki sir for his financial and moral support in this project. And special thanks to Ms. Kalpana Mahat from Kalpana Handicraft for supporting us by providing white cane.
