“Inclusive Artistry Unveiled: Music Video Premiere, Awards and Performances” was successfully conducted at August 26, 2023 at St. Xavier’s College. The event featured renowned celebrities of Nepal, Mr. Deepak Raj Giri, Mr. Sushant K.C., Ms. Rejina Rimal and Mr. Yash Kumar.
The event featured premiere of Nepal’s first accessible music video in Nepal which had prominence of blind artists. The song was written, composed, arranged, modelled and sang by blind and visually impaired artists. The music video was directed by Suman Sagar Jung K.C..
Similarly, blind and visually impaired artists who were taking dance and drama classes also showcased their final performances on the event. They demonstrated a theatrical performance named, “Ma sanga ko ma”.
Mr. Mohan Bishwokarma was awarded Sristi Upama Pratima Puraskar along with cash prize of Rs. 11,000 for his contribution to creation of drama and showcasing his creation on various societal as well as diverse issue through Youtube channel where visually impaired artists play active roles.
The event was graced by various individuals, leaders of INGOs and NGOs, students and well known dignitaries of Nepal. We are very thankful to all the well-wishers and supporters who directly as well as indirectly assisted us throughout the project.
